Linda is a highly experienced lawyer specializing in commercial and corporate law, in addition to transactional practice in Rwanda and beyond. Linda has spent more than 20 years in both private and public sectors. An experienced transaction advisor, ex-diplomat, trade facilitator, accredited negotiator, chartered arbitrator, taxation and customs expert, Linda brings comprehensive understanding and skill in dealing with both domestic & international, public & private sector bodies and matters, especially in commercial advisory and transactional structuring in sectors such as corporate finance, energy and natural resources, construction, real estate and more. She is also currently the Corporate Governance Lead for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Rwanda. She currently sits on the boards of Aviation Travel & Logistics Holding (ATL), East African Business Council (EABC), Sanlam Insurance Company Rwanda, Afriprecast Ltd, Ministry of Foreign Affairs amongst others.

Linda served as a First Counsellor for the Rwandan High Commission in the United Kingdom and Ireland. She also served in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning as a Legal Expert, additionally in Rwanda Revenue Authority as the Head of the Legal department, where she significantly contributed to various customs and tax law reforms. Linda also played an integral role in Rwanda’s regional and international integration as one of the negotiators on the lead technical teams that worked on Rwanda’s admission to the East Africa Community and Commonwealth Association.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick and is a member of the Rwanda Bar Association and Kigali International Arbitration Center (KIAC).
